📌 Preliminary Meeting with VISUAL-EU External Experts
Today we held the preliminary coordination meeting with our Ukrainian colleagues who will serve as Monitoring & Evaluation External Experts for the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project VISUAL-EU – Visualizing the EU: Enhancing Public Awareness of European Policies, Values, and Initiatives at Polish HEIs (Grant Agreement 101235890 — VISUAL-EU — ERASMUS-JMO-2025-HEI-TCH-RSCH) at VIZJA University (Warsaw, Poland). 🇪🇺
Experts confirmed:
• Prof. Dr. Olena Semenog — Head, Center for Scientific and Educational Partnership and Networking Interaction, A. S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University (Ukraine)
• Dr. Olga Fast — Vice-Rector for Scientific & Pedagogical Work and International Cooperation, Lutsk Pedagogical College, Volyn Regional Council (Ukraine)
What the preliminary meeting covered:
• Scope of the M&E mandate (36 months, aligned with project timeline)
• Co-development of the theory of change and KPIs (awareness, reach, engagement, sentiment; baselines/targets)
• Plan for baseline, mid-term, and final evaluations (triangulating documents, stakeholder interviews/focus groups, and analytics)
• Quality review of milestones/deliverables (communication framework, OERs, toolkits, visual assets, outreach) for rigor, accessibility/UDL, and alignment with EU values
• Ethics/GDPR: consent, image rights, IP for visual materials
• Risk register (misinformation, reputational, inclusivity, accessibility) and mitigation
• Governance cadence: quarterly steering, annual reviews, concise policy-relevant briefs, and final external report for sustainability & uptake
Next steps: draft M&E Framework v0.1, baseline tools, and the evaluation calendar for Year I deliverables.
