22 December 2025 we will hold the final roundtable discussion titled “Making Europe Visible”, bringing the VISUAL-EU community together for a concluding conversation on how Europe can be communicated more clearly, convincingly, and responsibly in today’s fast-moving digital public sphere.

During the discussion, we will explore how universities and academic communities can move from abstract slogans to clear public understanding of European realities—through language, visuals, and evidence-based storytelling. Key points include:

How to translate EU policies and values into messages people can actually understand and remember

Why visualization matters: infographics, mapping, timelines, and data storytelling as tools for civic literacy

What makes European initiatives visible in practice: education formats, public events, media communication, and digital outreach

The challenge of visibility today: attention economy, simplification, and how to keep accuracy and integrity

Lessons learned from VISUAL-EU and what comes next—how to sustain impact after the project’s core activities conclude

A meaningful closing conversation—focused not only on results, but on what visibility should look like when it serves society.
