Main Learning Outcomes of the VISUAL-EU Project

Upon completion of VISUAL-EU learning activities, participants will be able to:

Knowledge

1. Explain the structure, roles, and decision-making functions of the main European Union institutions and relate them to higher education, research, and public life in Poland.

2. Identify key EU values, policies, and strategic frameworks relevant to education, inclusion, citizenship, digital transformation, and European cooperation.

3. Understand the foundations of visual communication, digital storytelling, accessibility, ethics, and evidence-based communication in EU-related educational and public contexts.

Skills

4. Translate complex EU values, policies, and initiatives into clear, accurate, and engaging visual and textual formats for different target audiences.

5. Create accessible communication and learning materials on EU topics, including infographics, governance maps, case notes, storyboards, and short explanatory texts, using appropriate digital tools.

6. Apply evidence-first approaches by integrating EU documents, research findings, data, and correct APA-style references into visual and written outputs.

7. Present and evaluate EU-related communication outputs in terms of clarity, inclusiveness, accessibility, credibility, and potential public impact.

Social and Civic Competences

8. Collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and stakeholder-oriented teams when designing EU-related educational and communication materials.

9. Act ethically and inclusively in the selection and use of images, narratives, and data, with attention to accessibility, privacy, representation, and digital well-being.
