Objectives

The general objective of VISUAL-EU is to strengthen knowledge, visibility, and public understanding of the European Union’s values, policies, and initiatives in Polish higher education by combining innovative teaching, visual communication, digital resources, and public engagement, while creating approaches and materials that can also be relevant to wider academic and civic audiences in Europe and beyond.

Specific Objectives

1. To develop the VISUAL-EU Hub, an interactive digital platform offering visually engaging resources on EU values, policies, and success stories, including infographics, case studies, discussion spaces, and accessible learning materials. 

2. To design and deliver interdisciplinary educational modules in European Studies through winter and summer schools, with a strong focus on the visual representation of EU governance, policy communication, EU values in action, and European citizenship. 

3. To conduct research on visual-oriented pedagogical methods for teaching EU-related topics and to transform the results into research articles and policy briefs. 

4. To disseminate EU values, policies, and initiatives widely through the VISUAL-EU Hub, project website, social media, winter and summer schools, publications, conferences, and roundtable discussions, thereby encouraging inclusive debate on the role of the EU in education and society. 

5. To develop a practical guidance document for Polish ministries and public authorities on strengthening the visibility of the European Union at higher education institutions in Poland.
