About the Project
VISUAL-EU is an educational and research initiative designed to make the European Union’s values, policies, and initiatives more visible, understandable, and engaging for higher education communities in Poland and beyond.
The project brings together innovative teaching, digital communication, and research to present EU-related topics in a more accessible, visually engaging way. Instead of relying solely on formal, text-heavy materials, VISUAL-EU promotes interactive learning through digital resources, case studies, visual storytelling, and interdisciplinary teaching.
At the heart of the project is the VISUAL-EU Hub — an interactive platform that will provide accessible materials on EU values, policies, and success stories, including infographics, discussion spaces, and practical learning resources. Alongside the platform, the project develops four interdisciplinary modules focused on EU governance, digital storytelling and policy communication, EU values in action, and European citizenship and community engagement.
VISUAL-EU is intended for students, academic staff, university administrators, researchers, civil society organisations, local authorities, and the wider public. Its broader aim is to strengthen public understanding of the European Union, support innovative European Studies teaching, and encourage more active and informed civic engagement.
In the long term, the project seeks to create sustainable resources, research outputs, and teaching practices that can be used and adapted by higher education institutions and public stakeholders beyond the project period. This logic is fully consistent with the project’s objectives, target groups, impact model, and sustainability plan described in the application.
